Week 24 – Universal Mind

 

Single Consciousness

Universal Mind 1There is a single, intelligent Consciousness that pervades the entire Universe – the Universal Mind. It is all knowing, all powerful, all creative and always present. As it is present everywhere at the same time, it follows that it must also be present in you – that it is you. Your mind is part of the one Universal Mind. This is not simply a philosophical ideal passed down to us through the ages. It is an exact scientific truth. Know it, believe it, apply it and you will see your life transform in miraculous ways.

Everything Is Energy

Albert Einstein told us that “everything is energy”; that “a human being is a part of the whole called by us [the] Universe”. His words echoed the most ancient of spiritual and philosophical teachings and still underpin today’s cutting-edge scientific discoveries. The Universal Mind goes by many names. In the scientific world we know of the Unified Field, in spiritual philosophy we refer to The All or Universal Consciousness and in religion we call upon God who Himself goes by many names – Jesus, Jehovah, and Allah to mention but a few. The name is relevant only in so far as it resonates with you.

Whichever way you cut it, you come to this one unavoidable conclusion: there is but One Consciousness of which your consciousness must be a part and “a part”, as Charles Haanel said, “must be the same in kind and quality as the whole, the only difference being one of degree”.

Your Reality

You are able to create your ideal reality because you are already connected to everything you want. Nothing and no one is separate from you. You can experience happiness, true love, perfect health, abundance, wealth and anything else you intend. All you have to do is bring yourself into vibrational harmony with the nature of that which you want to experience through the creative power of your thoughts. To become the master of your destiny, you must master your thoughts.

In a nutshell, there is a single Consciousness, the Universal Mind, which pervades the entire Universe. It is all knowing, all powerful, all creative and always present everywhere at the same time. Your consciousness is part of it – it is It. All is One. You are connected to everything and every one. You are already connected with what you want. To the degree that you truly comprehend and internalize this Truth, you will be able to become the master of your mind and the director of your life.

Week 23 – Laws of Attraction and Vibration

The Law of Attraction and the Law of Vibration Go Hand in Hand

Energy

When you know that your thoughts and emotions are vibrating ( Law of Vibration) and you know that “like attracts like” (Law of Attraction) you will appreciate that you can now start to alter your life just by altering your thoughts and emotions.  Unfortunately many of us are “programmed” from childhood to have thoughts and emotions about worry, fear, scarcity and so on.  If you change these patterns of thoughts and feelings you will be able to attract into your life what you truly want.

Does the Law of Attraction work?

Magnetic ForceIt does work as long as you send out the right vibrations. The Law of Vibration never fails. Everything vibrates. Experts in the Law of Attraction. say that you must do more than just make a wish.  Your emotions and feelings must also be aligned with what you wish for. It is not enough to merely ask for it if you do not truly have emotions and feelings that are in harmony with that wish. You need to have a “burning desire” for what you want in order to be in the correct vibrational  state.

If you ask for more money through prayer, meditation or just by wanting it – it will not help you if your emotions and feelings are programmed to think that money does not grow on trees, or that you do not deserve to be rich, or that you cannot handle being rich etc.  If you grew up in a family where your father or mother (or both) always said: “do you think I am made out of money – we can’t afford that” – then most likely you are programmed to believe this to be true.law-of-attraction - win in your mind

Your subconscious mind has a different belief system than what you are wishing for. Hence your inner feelings and emotions are not aligned with your wish. These beliefs are thousands of times stronger than desires and wishes. So if you desire something different than what you currently have, it will not happen if your beliefs are “I can’t”.

We all have built a blueprint in our mind (subconscious) of what we regard as true and what we believe in. This blueprint has been sculpted for years through your childhood by your father and mother, by your brother and sisters, by your friends, by what you read in the newspapers, by what you see on TV, by what you learn in school and so on.

If suddenly new information is presented to this blueprint it will not automatically be added. You can ask for more money of financial wealth everyday for several years and nothing will ever manifest as the Law of Attraction preaches because your subconscious is not aligned with that desire.

The key is to “reprogram” your subconscious mind with a new belief system. Believe that anything is possible, believe that you are rich, that you deserve to be rich, that you are happy, that you are healthy and so on.  Then go out and find a way to be of service to others for as Haanel says…”you will find that money weaves itself into the fabric of our every existence; that the law of success is service; that we get what we give, and for this reason we should consider it a great privilege to be able to give.”

Week 22A – The Science of Getting Rich

This week as part of our exercises we listened to the audio book, “The Science of Getting Rich”, which was written almost 100 years ago by Wallace D. Wattles, but stills holds value in today’s world.  The theme throughout this book, like the theme throughout this Master Key Experience, is that you must focus on your purpose and pursue it completely until you have achieved your success. Mr. Wattles leads you through the steps of developing faith, and using universal intelligence to move things towards you to create your riches.

Charles Haanel in ” The Master Key System, Napoleon Hill in “Think and Grow Rich” and others have also written on this idea of an unlimited wealth and a universal force of intelligence designed and working to create more always. The explanation here is a bit different, but has the same point, that you can bring into being that which you create in your mind, and constantly focus on.

Mr. Wattles gives you step by step instructions on how to change your thinking and ways of doing things to begin your journey to wealth.  He shows how to use this idea, how to overcome barriers to its application, and how to work with very direct methods that awaken it in your life.  He further explains how creation and not competition is the hidden key to wealth attraction, and how your power to get rich uplifts everyone around you.

This book is a quick read and I highly recommend it.

Week 21 – Miracles Are Everywhere

Miracles are in the eye of the beholder, they happen everywhere everyday!

Miracles are a state of mind, and when you really believe in them, they show up regularly.  They come in all sizes and shapes.

Mother nature abounds with miracles.  Just go outside or look out the window.  A sunset, a sunrise, a full moon, a blue sky, an eagle soaring, mountains big and small, the ocean, stars at night, a flower blooming, a thunderstorm and a bird singing are just a few of the everyday miracles we find around us.  With your blinders off you can expect to find miracles everywhere.

When you recognize that you are nature’s greatest miracle and you decide to live your life as the miracle that you truly are, that’s when the magic begins.

Week 20 – Magic Happens Outside of Our Comfort Zone

This week among other things we were asked to move out of our comfort zone.  Not to jump out but rather to begin to nudge the edges and move an inch here and there.  Just to stretch our comfort a little bit because once stretched it can never regain it’s previous shape.

So what is our comfort zone?  It’s where we know what to expect.  It’s routine, familiar and safe.  We’re relaxed and free from risk. But, there’s little room for adventure, excitement or personal growth here.

Just outside of our comfort zone lies the sweet spot of human performance. An area of optimal anxiety which is our growth or courage zone.Comfort Zone Courage Zone

It’s a place where we are motivated to succeed and the space where we are ready to perform at our best.  It’s a place of opportunity, adventure, higher duty and ultimate potential.

Genetically, we are all predisposed to become more.  We are all predisposed to achieve.

Once we nudge ourselves into this space beyond our comfort zone, not only will our life become more exciting but we also build confidence.  Outside of our comfort zone is where the magic happens.

Week 19 – Raise Your Vibrations

All your thoughts and feelings are energy, and energy is vibration. Learn  to               Raise those Vibrations and watch your life change dramatically.

1. Find something beautiful and appreciate it.

Beauty is all around us, from the morning dew to the evening stars and everything in between. Most go through life not noticing all the beautiful things that are around them, and yes it’s every where, so take the time to notice them, and appreciate them when you see it. Whether it’s the scent of a flower or the way rain ripples in puddles of water, appreciate the beauty life has to offer.

2. Make a list of all that you are grateful for.

Making a gratitude list shifts your vibrations from focusing on what you do not have to what is already abundant in your life. There is more to be grateful for than you could possibly imagine. You can start with “I’m Alive!” and expand from there. Gratitude is the Attitude.

3. Meditate.

Sit in a comfortable position, close your eyes and breath in and out. Too often we rush through our days with a scattered brain leaving us in a state of anxiety and stress, Meditation helps to calm your spirit down and put you in a peaceful state of mind. 10 Minutes of meditation a day can change your life forever.

4. Do something for someone else.

Giving to someone else shifts your thinking from “I don’t have enough, to I have more than enough to give to others.” Abundance is a high vibration.

5. Stop complaining and gossiping.

Complaining and Gossip puts you in a very low vibration. Ask yourself “Are the things you are talking about bringing you more of what you want?” if not then, Stop complaining, and start finding ways to rejoice.

6. Move. Exercise. Get active.                                                                             Love vibrations

Vibration requires movement, the more you move the better your vibrations move. So Get Active! Dance! The happier you feel, the more you will draw happy experiences to yourself because you are operating at a different frequency.

7. Realize that you have more control over your life than you thought. You are not a victim to circumstance, past, family upbringing, trauma, or anything else. You can change your life in an instant. Just realize this. In many wisdom traditions this is called “total responsibility.” No one is responsible for how you feel right now but you. It isn’t a curse. It’s a blessing because it gives you your power back.

8. Breathe.                                                                                                              

Just sit and try to make your breath longer, fuller, and more relaxed. It has a direct affect on your nervous system and helps to calm you down. A calm vibration is a high vibration.

 9. Do Something You’re Afraid Of.

Fear holds us back from being in a state of love and happiness, and facing those fears opens you up to a greater world of possibilities. Fear of Heights? Go skydiving. Scared of public speaking, say a poem at an open mic. You’ll begin to realize your fear was worse then the  actual problem, and a sense of relief will wash over you.

10. Have a Meaningful Conversation with a Friend Rather than gossip or complaining, talk about your ideas. What do you have planned for yourself? What do you think is the nature of reality? Are we spiritual beings having a human experience? Talking about these things with someone helps to raise both your vibrations by thinking big. If you don’t have someone to talk to about these kinds of things, there’s a community of higher minded individuals right in the Alliance.

Week 18 – Gratitude and Kindness = Happiness and Success

For more than three weeks now, we MKMMAers have been practicing five tiny habits.  These habits include:

1. Performing daily acts of kindess                                gratitude & kindness

2. Noting three daily gratitudes on an index card,

3. Reliving a positive moment from the previous day,

4. Exercising 10 minutes or more daily, and

5. Sitting in silence and thinking for 15 minutes or more daily.

We are doing this so that we become happier because people that are happy perform better in everything in their lives.  They perform better in their relationships, in their business endeavors, in their ability to learn and everything else they do.  In fact, it’s a scientific fact that people who perform the five tiny habits are 37% more effective in their lives because they are happy.

Most people’s brains have been programmed backwards.  That is they keep moving the goal post.  They think when they reach their next goal they’ll be happy but they still aren’t and just move the goal post again and again putting happiness beyond success so they never reach true happiness.

Ninety percent of our happiness is not caused by our outside world, our possessions or our achievements.  It is how our brain processes the outside world which determines our happiness and success.  If we change the lens, how we view things, we can change the outcome.

As our mentor and guide, Mark J, tells us ” you are made first class by first class and you’re entitled to go first class if you do a first class job of being in service to other people.  Do it with gratitude and kindness and extend the miracle into your own life everyday and inspire miracles in others.  Peace be the Journey.”

Week 17a – The Hero’s Journey

This week our mentor, Mark J, called us to adventure.  He asked us to embark on the Hero’s Journey. That is, move from the The Heroe's Journeyknown, our existing world,  to the unknown, the world of our new reality, or to quit.  Quit ???  No way, I’ve come too far and worked too hard to quit now.   We’ve reached another fork in the road and we need to make a choice.  I choose to move forward on the journey.

This journey will not be an easy one.  We will go through trials and tribulations along the way.  There will be temptations from our old blueprint trying to get us off track.  We will need to say goodbye to that old self,  that trusted friend, and welcome our new self.  This is both exciting and scary at the same time.

Along this journey, we will give greater meaning, direction and purpose to our lives.  By living our lives by Emerson’s Law of Compensation ( the Law of Giving and Receiving) which says the more you give the more you’ll get, we will live lives of service.  We will experience growth and transformation.  We will be harmonious and truly happy.  We will find our bliss.

So I forge forward and continue to form good habits and become their slave.  I greet each day and each person I meet with love in my heart.  I persist until I succeed so I win. I am rare and valuable.  I am nature’s greatest miracle and so are you.  We are whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious and happy.  And, we always keep our promises.

Week 17 – Permission

This week we were instructed to grant ourselves permission and to think on this during our daily sits.  So my question to you is have you given yourself permission

to be KIND?

to be LOVING?                        Permission Granted

to be HAPPY?

to be HARMONIOUS?

to be SUCCESSFUL?

to be POWERFUL?

to FULFILL YOUR DREAMS?

Have you given yourself permission to be you, to be what you will to be?   After all, you are nature’s greatest miracle.  You are unique, rare and valuable.  So, let your light shine.

As Emerson’s Law of Compensation tells us we cannot get unless we give and we cannot give what we do not possess.  Begin by giving yourself permission to be whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious, happy and anything else you want to be.
